As for the HTC Explorer’s specifications, it is speculated that it will have a 600 MHz processor, which is a Qualcomm MSM7227 chipset with an Adreno 200 GPU. It will run on an Android 2.3 aka Gingerbread OS with an HTC Sense user interface built on top of it. As for the screen, it will have a 3.2-inch HVGA display with a resolution of 320 x 480. In terms of storage, the Explorer will have 512 MB ROM and 384 MB RAM. There will also be a 2GB microSD card bundled with the handset and one can upgrade it up to 32GB.

The Explorer leaves behind the old ARMv6 processor(it is use Samsung Galaxy Y ) and moves to the Snapdragon S1 platform that comes with ARMv7( Use in HTC Explorer ). What's the difference between v6 and v7 you ask? Some apps need v7 to work, the Flash player, Firefox Browser for example.
